    Trip itinerary

The big day has arrived: 'Colombia, here I come!' Full of excitement, you take to the skies, and the thoughts of your upcoming adventures make your journey fly by in turbo mode.  Next thing you know, your plane lands with a gentle bump in Bogotá! Nestled in the green Andes, Colombia's capital welcomes you with an unbeatable combo of tradition and futuristic city vibes. First things first, you grab your bags and slide into the car to your accommodation. Once you're all checked in, it's time to settle in and take a deep breath – the mix of fresh mountain air and urban energy is like a little reset. Things really get going tomorrow, and from colonial chic to hip street art and foodie highlights, there's something to discover on every corner. Bogotá delivers – and that's a promise!

Ready to score the best view in the city? Cerro de Monserrate, Bogotá's local mountain, is calling! Whether you decide to hike up or take the cable car or funicular (optional, payable on site), adventure is guaranteed. And the further up you go, the smaller the city will appear, until you reach the incredible panorama at the top and gaze out at Bogotá in XXL, framed by the mighty Andes – simply epic! How are you supposed to tear yourself away from it?! Pro tip: You don't have to if you take the cable car instead of walking back down! Back in the city, head straight into the vibrant La Candelaria district. With its pink balconies, yellow houses and hip street art, a real festival of colour awaits. Plus, the Andes in the background are simply chef's kiss!

Buenos días! Simón Bolívar Park is the perfect place for an easy start to the day, so grab a bike (optional, payable on site) and cruise along the wide paths. With joggers, picnickers and heaps of nature, it's one of the city's top chill spots. And if that isn't enough, then paddle across the lake (optional, payable on site) and enjoy a total moment of Zen as you watch the city slowly awake. Then it's off to Usaquén, a hip district with so many cool corners, you won't even know where to start. From cute boutiques to creative markets, here, you can shop till you drop! Finally, end with a true highlight at La Puerta Falsa restaurant, which serves up the full Colombian experience on a plate: tamales, hot chocolate and huge helpings of pure tradition!

Today, you're more than happy to take another stroll through the cobbled streets. On your way, why not stop off at Plaza Bolívar, the city's beating heart, and then snap a few more pics of your fave places? There's no chance of getting bored here! You could walk through the hustle and bustle and soak up the lively atmosphere forever. And if you thought art wasn't your thing, just wait – the Botero Museum could well change that! The funny sculptures and works of art are sure to put a smile on your face. And the best part? Admission is free! After satisfying your visual senses, the next stop is obvious: Colombian cuisine. Get set for Arepas, obleas and almojábanas accompanied by a freshly brewed coffee – qué delicioso! And the evening's far from over: the streets are calling, the beats are blasting and who knows what else you'll discover!
